Building an Employer Dashboard
At Debut, we focused on helping employers connect with early talent and hard-to-reach students through a mobile-first app. The way Gen Z prefers to engage. We improved our campaign creation flow with the goal of making it as easy as it is on platforms like Meta.

The outcome
- My designs and work with engineers to ship the change enabled the Customer Success team to build impactful, targeted campaigns with ease, streamlining outreach.
- It also became a powerful tool for our sales team, who used the dashboard to demo and pitch the product effectively to prospective clients.
Insight informed design
We discovered the need to display reachable audience size, which became a valuable feature for both the sales and customer success team. For sales, it offered a concrete metric to showcase the platform’s potential impact, strengthening product demos and pitches to prospective clients. For the CS team, audience size estimates were essential when planning and optimizing campaigns, allowing them to set realistic expectations and tailor campaigns more effectively to the client’s talent acquisition goals.

Precise talent targeting and audience size across 40 data attributes
In close collaboration with engineers
We decided to adopt Material Design’s front-end design system and framework. This approach improved consistency across the dashboard’s interface while speeding up implementation allowing us to focus on functionality and user experience.
